Class Description:	The Cornerstone Sunday School class of First Baptist Church of Pelham meets at 10:45 a.m. on the third floor of the Children’s Wing. This is a large class taught by John Jones and is made up of couples and a few singles ranging in age from late twenties to early fifties. Many of its members have children ranging in age from birth through young teenagers. This class is a very close group and is extremely involved in many different areas of the church. It is also a very loving group of prayer warriors who love to minister to those inside and outside of the class.

Class Description:	This class is for young adults in/or out of college (ages 17-25). The college class is extremely involved in the creative ministries and discipleship training. The style of teaching is lecture/discussion. The members of the class are always encouraged to request specific topics to be taught.

Class Description:	This is an adult couples class for ages 45 and up. It meets at the 9:15 a.m. time in Room SG 15 in the lower level of the main church building, strategically located right across from the coffee and doughnuts. There are two teachers for this class: Eric Phillips and John Mccombs – each one having their own lesson presentation style. They alternate months – this helps keep them fresh and provides some variety for the class. The last Saturday of each month we have a “Night Out” activity (usually meet at a restaurant for eating and fellowship). This is a relatively small class (currently about 14 members) which creates an encouraging/nurturing environment – and we have room for YOU!

Class Description:	We are a caring class that shares fellowship and prayer requests within the class. The teaching is Bible based from God’s Holy Word with the emphasis on practical application of truth to each member’s life. Interactive class participation is highly valued by not forced upon anyone.

Class Description:	COED 10 is comprised of a diverse group of adults. There is not age bracket or other requirements. Phil Cochran starts the lesson but the Lord dictates the direction. Class attendees’s input is welcome and encouraged. Biblical truths are taught and explored. A “No Holds Barred” kind of gathering. Visitors welcome and embraced. Y’all come!!

Class Description:	Meets at 8:00 a.m. in room S-122. This is an adult class ages 55 and up, but all ages are welcome. The class size is small, and there is no nursery care at this time. The goal of our class is to be transformed to the mind of Christ by the renewing of our minds.

Class Description:	The COED 19 Sunday School class is mainly comprised of working couples with children whose ages range from early elementary through middle school. Most of the couples in the class have very active lifestyles that center around their child’s development, including both school, church, and community sponsored sports activities. Due to the very active lifestyles of the class, we socialize less frequently than other classes. We try to have tome type of class activity about once a quarter, even if its just a group lunch after church on Sunday. And of course, we have FUN at Christmas with a group social, including great food, fellowship, and “Dirty Santa” gift swap. The style of teaching is diverse. It mainly consists of lecture, but all input from class members is welcome. We have excellent, lively discussions. However, no one is forced to participate. Sunday School should be enjoyable, not stale and boring. We try to make sure that you learn the Bible and are able to apply what you learn to your everyday life. COED 19 Sunday School is a very non-judgmental class and is open to anyone, regardless of marital status or whether your have children or not.
