Sav-A-Life Diaper Shower

Please join us this afternoon for a diaper shower benefiting Sav-A-Life Shelby’s Pregnancy Resource Center from 2:00 until 3:30 PM in the Gathering Area. Diaper sizes 2 or larger, please. Thank you.

Kindergarten/Mother’s Day Out

Kindergarten and Mother’s Day Out registration is now open for the 2018-2019 year. Please call the Kindergarten office at 663-7455 for more information concerning registration.

New FOCUS Groups

Three new classes begin Sunday, March 4, at 5 PM. The first class, Understanding Spiritual Gifts, will be led by Bob Cleveland and anyone may participate. The second class,  Discerning the Voice of God, is a women’s class led by Emily Boutwell. The third class Too Busy Not to Pray is being led by Randy Walker, and this class is also for anyone.

The Compassion Experience

On March 9-12, from 10 AM-6 PM each day, FBCP will host a Compassion International Mobile Experience weekend. This organization helps children in poverty around the world, and we will partner with them in 2018. The presentation will be in the north parking lot outside the preschool entrance. Reservations will be required for the FREE tour as we expect around 3000 people. We also need 40 volunteers to help. Links to make your tour reservation and/or to volunteer are located in the scroll on our church website. Please do this as soon as possible.

Senior Adult Mission Trip

Our annual mission trip to New Orleans is March 25-30. You may sign up at the Welcome Desk. Take a Mission Trip Application from the pockets behind the desk and return it to Bro. Paul or the church office ASAP. We have to turn in the rooming list on March 4. If you feel led, you may give a monetary gift to purchase commercial-grade pots and pans for the Women at the Well Ministry. See Bro. Paul or Barbara to help with that need.

Special Needs Ministry

Sunday mornings can be overwhelming. Now imagine being a young child with a special need just trying to navigate Sunday School or Kids’ Church. We need a few more buddies to come alongside these children and their parents to help everyone have the best Sunday morning experience possible. Won’t you join us? Contact Jonathan at jwilliams@fbcpelham.org for more information.

Oak Mountain Mission Ministries Food Drive

We will have our annual spring food drive for Oak Mountain Mission during the month of March. Please come by the table in the Gathering Area and pick up a bag and a list of foods needed. We will be collecting food items through March 25th. This is a very worthy ministry for people who are in need.
